Kaolin

Pros: very reliable final result, very fast drying, scalable to any size operation.

Cons: increase the cost of kaolin.

Finally, if you are going to develop your floating bath bomb business, you should really consider adding kaolin to your recipe. When we first used it, it proved that it was a real game changer. Our floating bath bomb are immediately more durable and dry enough to be shipped.

The only real disadvantage of adding kaolin is that it increases the upfront costs, but when I worked out the figures at the end of the month, it turned out that our spending on kaolin was offset by the number of products we didn't lose. So for us, it's a no brainer, we've been using it every we've made. A very important warning is that kaolin is powdery, so for all powder components, you should make sure that you always wear a dust mask or respirator when handling, so that you will not inhale the powder into your lungs.
